We are very happy and proud that the mobile network operator 3 has chosen us as their agency! In the beginning of the process some 30 agencies were competing for the assignment. After four agencies had been picked out for the pitch, Deasign won the deal. The project includes the entire digital presence of 3 – everything from communication to business. Win a Gene Simmons guitar with Axe!

To create awareness of the new product from Axe – Axe Instinct – Deasign has developed the musical competition Axe Rock n’ Roll Instinct, where the prize is a specially-designed Gene Simmons guitar for playing Guitar Hero. The game is integrated in both Messenger and Facebook so that target group members can easily challenge one another. The game is produced by Fröjd Interactive.

Deasign goes fashion

In August we launched the new laredoute.se – the web site for fashion at a decent price! During the spring we remade the site and our goal was to create a stronger feeling of fashion and inspiration, while at the same time making it easier of the customer to find new garments and labels.

Our ambition was to create a site where visitors spend more time compared to the old site, resulting in increased sales and customer satisfaction for all parties involved. So, if you want to shop fashionable clothes and make great discoveries at the same time, check out laredoute.se!

Welcome Ragn-Sells!

After a spring of tough negotiations, we are now happy to have kicked off work with Ragn-Sells. On our list we now have introductory workshops, a visit to one of the biggest recycling stations in Sweden, and heaps of general information. We are going to help Ragn-Sells to meet and communicate with both potential and existing customers through the use of digital media. Our first project together will be to create the new ragnsells.se. The target group primarily consists of companies and the public sector, but also private individuals. It feels good to be a part of Ragn-Sells’ lifecycle!

Deasign nominated for the Swedish Design Prize

We are proud to announce that Deasign has been nominated for Svenska Designpriset (The Swedish Design Prize) in the category “Information Print – Manual” with regard to the work we have done for Sjukvårdsupplysningen 1177.

The goal of the prize is to promote and develop Swedish graphic design and communication. Everybody that is involved in this line of work has a chance to participate in the competition. Voting takes place on 31 August 2009 at www.capdesign.se, and, along with a jury, the entire Design-Sweden can participate in the competition. The winners are presented during a gala event held at Moderna Muséet (The Modern Museum in Stockholm) on 8 October 2009.

MSN Mouse Awards to Deasign

Axe Wheel of Temptation continues its success story, most recently in the MSN Mouse Awards, an international competition open for everyone who has advertised through the MSN network. The Axe campaign, which has become a favourite of our News section, won third prize in the consumer goods/FMCG category over some of the best agencies and campaigns in the world. Deasign is of course very proud. The Bronze Mouse has now moved in on the prize shelf and we have celebrated it with champagne (thank you Microsoft!).

Beckers for ever

Recently we launched the new beckers.se – a web site for happy amateur painters as well as professional painters. The aim was to create a durable site for visitors, editors and search engines, while at the same time providing inspiration and guidance throughout the whole painting process. Our plan was to achieve this through functions that trigger both emotional and rational decisions. On the new site the visitor can choose freely among pictures, colours, products, hints and tips, and smartly distribute this information further to friends via sms or email. Games in Messenger a success

During the summer and fall of 2008, all MSN users have had the chance to try out Axe Wheel of Temptation – a ”Spin the Bottle” game integrated in Messenger. The game was launched along with the new product Axe Dark Temptation and the aim was for the target group to be able to spend quality time with the brand. The strategy involved helping guys come into contact with girls, and to catch them where they already spend a lot of time – on MSN. Over 600 000 young people have played the game more than 1 500 000 times, the average time being over 5 minutes. The game has also received a lot of attention. For example, it was a finalist in Eurobest, won a third prize in the Mouse Awards and a nomination in One Show.

Media Markt and the environment

A consumer electronics chain is perhaps not what you associate with environmental commitment, but Media Markt is an exception as the company for some time now has been investing in electricity generated by wind power. We were engaged to design an environmental web site that draws attention to Media Markt’s environmental work, while at the same time emphasizing the connection between consumption and environment. In our opinion the environmental web needed to be both visible and different in order for Media Markt to successfully be viewed as the most environmentally friendly consumer electronics chain. The result was a fable – “The Story of Media Markt and the Environment” – where the Media Markt personnel go into the forest to tell all the animals that live there about the environmental commitment of Media Markt. To the Environmental Web!

Dina Försäkringar offers local services throughout the whole of Sweden via their network of subsidiaries. The ambition of the new dina.se was thus to create a personal web site that communicates closeness, safety and knowledge. Dina.se also functions as a digital sales channel. In addition, a smart guide will soon be launched, offering recommendations directly on the web to everyone who needs a helping hand when choosing insurances. See the result at www.dina.se
