3 nominated in Epi Awards!

The annual Epi Awards is being held on the 28th October to award successful online communication in Sweden. This year 83 entrants is competing and the site that we and Isotop created together for 3 is nominated in the Best web category for business to consumers (B2C).

- Through the EpiServer Awards we would like to inspire others to follow the ones that are in the forefront of creating online presence which is measurable and generates results, says Gustav Snöblom on EpiServer.

3 is competing against Skistar, Västsvenska turistrådet and Östgötatrafiken in the B2C category. Read the press release and please keep your fingers crossed!

Logotype awarded in WOLDA

Proud but not satisfied

Deasign came second-place in the category Digital Agencies in ”Agency of the Year 2009”, the annual survey of the Swedish industrial newspaper Dagens Industri and Regi, a leading Nordic business survey company. For the fifth year in a row we are ranked among the top three, and we are both happy and proud that our clients give us such high grades. However, we want to win and we will now put all our energy into once again being ranked as the “Best Digital Agency of Year” with the most satisfied clients in Sweden. A big thank you to all our clients and to the people who inspire us in our work!

Deasign nominated for the Swedish Design Prize

We are proud to announce that Deasign has been nominated for Svenska Designpriset (The Swedish Design Prize) in the category “Information Print – Manual” with regard to the work we have done for Sjukvårdsupplysningen 1177.

The goal of the prize is to promote and develop Swedish graphic design and communication. Everybody that is involved in this line of work has a chance to participate in the competition. Voting takes place on 31 August 2009 at www.capdesign.se, and, along with a jury, the entire Design-Sweden can participate in the competition. The winners are presented during a gala event held at Moderna Muséet (The Modern Museum in Stockholm) on 8 October 2009.

MSN Mouse Awards to Deasign

Axe Wheel of Temptation continues its success story, most recently in the MSN Mouse Awards, an international competition open for everyone who has advertised through the MSN network. The Axe campaign, which has become a favourite of our News section, won third prize in the consumer goods/FMCG category over some of the best agencies and campaigns in the world. Deasign is of course very proud. The Bronze Mouse has now moved in on the prize shelf and we have celebrated it with champagne (thank you Microsoft!).

Games in Messenger a success

During the summer and fall of 2008, all MSN users have had the chance to try out Axe Wheel of Temptation – a ”Spin the Bottle” game integrated in Messenger. The game was launched along with the new product Axe Dark Temptation and the aim was for the target group to be able to spend quality time with the brand. The strategy involved helping guys come into contact with girls, and to catch them where they already spend a lot of time – on MSN. Over 600 000 young people have played the game more than 1 500 000 times, the average time being over 5 minutes. The game has also received a lot of attention. For example, it was a finalist in Eurobest, won a third prize in the Mouse Awards and a nomination in One Show.

Deasign: Best Agency of the Year

The business survey for 2008, carried out by the Swedish industrial newspaper Dagens Industri and Regi, the leading Nordic business survey company, is now completed. Yesterday, we attended the prize giving ceremony and won the prize “Digital Agency of the Year”! For the second year in a row. It is our fourth year on the winners’ stand and we are extremely proud that our clients give us such high grades in categories such as strategic competence, creativity, business advantage, proactivity and project management. We believe that the secret behind this lies in competent co-workers and great clients that put a lot of trust in us.

Gold and silver in the W3 Awards

This week, when the W3 awards presented their winners, we were proud to observe that Deasign had been awarded in three different cases. Our site for the launch of Scan Hot Tub (made together with Saatchi & Saatchi), www.hotstopshunger.com won a gold medal, while our banner for Axe Chocolate won a silver one, as did the meatballs game for Scan Hot Tub. W3 Awards is a competition that awards superior creativity on the Internet. All agencies can participate in the competition, regardless of their size. Internetworld likes our web sites

Every year the magazine Internetworld lists the top 100 web sites in Sweden. This year three of these web sites were created by Deasign. The criteria include how well the sites use the Internet in an innovative way, as well as editorial quality, structure, navigation and design. Our customer Bris is in the category “Authorities and Organisation”.

The motivation mentioned our re-make and that the site has become more modern with a more mature structure. Under the travel category you will find our client Mr Jet with the following motivation: “the brushed-up design and a new search function.” Sbab.se is listed under the category “Bank and Finance” and Storstadsguiden, produced by Deasign, receives special recognition here. Congratulations!
