Deasign has been responsible for the digital presence of OKQ8 since 2005. Our company has a team that works with both larger and smaller digital projects on a daily basis. The web site contains everything that the consumer needs for a life with his or her car, During the spring of 2008, one of the projects that was initiated was about increasing the sales of pellets. The web site was used as the primary channel.
To make a decision about using pellets as a method for heating demands a relevant basis for the decision, clear product explanations and a simple way of ordering. We developed a new section of the web site that focuses on communicating the product (i.e. pellets) both to first-time-buyers that are looking for information and for existing customers that want to stock up.
A few weeks after the launch sales had increased by 60% compared to the same period the year before.
